Welcome to StrikeScan ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
Our service is currently in beta/early access phase. The application may contain bugs, inaccuracies, or incomplete features. We are continuously working to improve the service, but users should be aware that the platform is still under development and may experience interruptions or changes without notice.
Our application provides information and tools related to options trading, including covered calls and cash secured puts. The information provided is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be construed as investment or financial advice.
Options trading involves significant risk and is not suitable for all investors. The information provided through our services is not tailored to any specific user's financial situation. Users should consider whether they understand how options work and whether they can afford to take the high risk of losing their money.
Our service does not offer personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. We are not licensed financial advisors, brokers, or dealers. Users should consult with qualified professionals before making any investment decisions.
StrikeScan allows users to connect third-party brokerage accounts (such as Alpaca, Tradier, Tastytrade, and others) to execute trades. By connecting your brokerage account, you authorize StrikeScan to place orders on your behalf based on your explicit actions within the platform.
StrikeScan does not have the ability to withdraw funds from your brokerage account. We do not hold customer funds or securities. All trades are executed through your chosen brokerage and are subject to that broker's terms, conditions, and fee schedules.
You may disconnect your brokerage account at any time through your account settings. All trades executed through StrikeScan are your responsibility. You acknowledge that you understand the risks associated with options trading and that past performance does not guarantee future results.
StrikeScan is not a broker-dealer and is not registered with FINRA, the SEC, or any other regulatory body as a broker-dealer. We act solely as a technology platform that facilitates the transmission of your trade instructions to your connected brokerage.
StrikeScan supports both paper trading (simulated) and live trading environments where available through connected brokers. Users are responsible for understanding which environment they are connected to and the implications of trading in each.
Our service is only available to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may not use our service.
To access certain features of our service, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree not to use our service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law. You also agree not to:
The application and all content, features, and functionality, including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and code, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
In no event shall we, our directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use our service.
Without limiting the foregoing, we shall not be liable for any trading losses, missed opportunities, or financial damages arising from the use of our broker integration features, including but not limited to order execution failures, delays, or errors in trade transmission.
Our total liability to you for any damages arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Our service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and title.
We do not warrant that our broker integration will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that trade orders will be executed at any particular price or within any particular timeframe.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Massachusetts, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and may notify you via email or through our service. Your continued use of our service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, USA, without respect to its conflict of laws principles.
